The African Oscars: NAFCA 2013 Winners

The third Nollywood & African Film Critics’ Awards (NAFCA 2013), also known as The African Oscars, took place on 14 September at the Warner Theatre in Washington DC, USA.

In the General Category, Ninah’s Dowry took the award for Best Film and Best Editing while Weekend Getaway actors Ramsey Nouah and Genevieve Nnaji snagged the Best Actor in a leading role and Best Actress in a supporting role awards respectively.

One Night in Vegas won Best Film in Diaspora and Best Cinematography awards with the films’ actor Jimmy Jean Louis taking the award for Best Actor in a supporting role in the Diaspora category.
